Moses Lawer-Yolar Obituary (1996

Moses Lawer-Yolar, age 20, of Morgantown, passed away suddenly Monday afternoon, June 12, 2017 due to an accident at Cheat Lake. He was born August 25, 1996 in Ghana, West Africa, a son of Gideon and Esther Lawer-Yolar who survive him in Morgantown. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three siblings, Nathan, Paul and Kawasi; and his grandfather, Nana Opuni Amponsahteng. Moses moved to Morgantown from Ghana, West Africa in 2010 and was a student of Suncrest Middle School. He then went on to go to Morgantown High School and graduated with the class of 2015. While there, he played soccer all four years. He continued to West Virginia University where he pursued a Business major. He was known to be a very lively and energetic person - always shining and beaming with smiles every moment. Entertaining others was always his priority and regardless of your mood, he could get you to crack a smile. He was very much loved by family and friends, colleagues, associates and all loved ones.
