Nicolas Joe "Nick" Guthrie Obituary (1993

Nicolas Joe "Nick" Guthrie, 29, of Bruceton Mills, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 at home. He was born in Morgantown on October 12th, 1993, a son of Penny Guthrie Holley of Morgantown, and the late Shannon Paul Guthrie. Nick is also survived by his step-father James Holley of Morgantown. Nick is survived by his wife Tyla Guthrie, his children, Sofia, Mika, Tyson, and Tiana; a brother, Patrick Guthrie; a sister, Alisha Dalton and her husband Andrew; his niece, Dakota Dalton; his nephew, Zachy Dalton; and his grandmother, Carolyn Simpkins. Also, Nick is survived by multiple aunts and uncles, as well as extended family members. In addition to his father, Nick was preceded in death by angel babies. Nick was an RC Car enthusiast, and enjoyed being in the outdoors. But above all, he adored his family and loved spending time with them, as well as his friends. Friends may join the family to honor Nick's life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover / Morgantown on Friday, January 27th from 5:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Following the funeral service, and at the request of the family, Nick will be cremated.
